Prayer is the most important spiritual exercise that a person can have.  If you are to live a happy, yielded and victorious life, prayer is absolutely essential daily.

To neglect prayer is to burden ourselves with care, to shut ourselves out of blessing, to enfeeble our faith, to dim the eyes of our hope, to damp the fire of our zeal, to relax the grip of our tenacity, to weaken the heart of our love and to rob our service of its strength.

SO WHATEVER IS WRONG WITH YOUR LIFE TODAY, YOU'LL FIND A SOLUTION IF YOU KNEEL DOWN AND PRAY.

I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth.  Psalms 34:1

Pray because prayer brings us consciously into the presence of God.  Pray because there is power in prayer.  Pray because prayer put the mighty promises of God to work for us.  Pray because prayer brings joy into our lives.  Pray because prayer releases our thoughts, unloads our burdens, lifts up our spirits, and allows us to break forth in praise.

If prayer does not drive sin out of your life, sin will drive prayer out.

Some Hindrances to Prayer

Lack of study of the Word of God, criticism, gossip, frivolity, boastings, failure to testify, unforgiving spirit, self dependence, failure to walk in revealed light, worry, discouragement, ignoring the claims of the Holy Spirit on the body, lack of faith, and a bitter spirit.

PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.   I THESSALONIANS 5:17

The highest privilege ever afforded to man is the privilege of prayer, the right to talk to the highest pontenate in all the universe!  Then why don't you pray?

Prayer is an acknowledgement of faith; worry is a denial of faith.  Prayer is putting one's hand in God's, trusting in His loving guidance; worry is withdrawing one's hand, and denying God's power to lead.  Prayer leads through the door of faith into the presence of God; worry leads through the door of anxiety into the darkness of loneliness and discouragement.  If prayer does not cancel worry, worry will cancel prayer.  -The Sword of Truth
